Step By Step: A

For Visa-Screen ready nurses.
Nurses who passed either CGFNS or NCLEX,
and passed an English Proficiency exam set, TOEFL/TSE or IELTS.


Step 1. Send your resume or CV to Global.

Step 2. Global will talk with you about potential jobs as well as your preferences and needs.

Step 3. Interview with one of Global’s client hospitals.

Step 4. You receive a job offer. The hiring hospital will send an official offer letter and information packet by FedEx for you to read, and accept by signing.

Step 5. Global’s lawyers will begin the work of getting your Green Card. They may call or
e-mail you to ask questions or get documents from you they will need to complete the paperwork.

Step 6. You wait about six months for your Green Card. During this time, the hospital that hires you will work with you to plan your relocation. They will help you choose your housing, arrange airline tickets and select a start date.

Step 7. Your local US Embassy (or AIT for Taiwan) will contact you for an appointment to receive your Green Card.

Step 8. Move to the US and begin work.

Step By Step: B

Need English test.
Nurses who have passed CGFNS or NCLEX,
but who have not yet taken an English proficiency exam.


Step 1. Send your resume or CV to Global.

Step 2. Register for either IELTS or TOEFL/TSE at the first availability. (Go to our Links page to connect with the exams' websites.) Please notify Global when you know your test date, and again when you have results from your exam.

Step 3. Global will talk with you about potential jobs as well as your preferences and needs.

Step 4. Interview with one of Global’s client hospitals.

Step 5. You receive a job offer. The hiring hospital will send an official offer letter and information packet by FedEx for you to read, and accept by signing.

Step 6. Global’s lawyers will begin work on getting your Green Card. You will need to have your IELTS or TOEFL/TSE scores by this time. They may call or e-mail you to ask questions or get documents from you they will need to complete the paperwork.

Need Nursing test.
Nurses who have not taken a US nursing exam (CGFNS or NCLEX),

Step 2. Register for Credentials Evaluation Service (CES). This is a certificate that makes you eligible to take NCLEX, the US nurse licensing exam. All 50 states accept CES as proof of eligibility, and the process takes about two months. When you receive a job offer, it will be important to take NCLEX as soon as possible afterward. This is why CES is such an important, and time sensitive step. You can complete CES registration online, or download the form and send it by mail. (Go to our Links page to connect with the CES and NCLEX websites.)

You do not have to go to the state you will work in to take that state’s NCLEX. In other words, you could take the Maryland NCLEX at the Hong Kong NCLEX testing center or anywhere in the US – like California, or Guam or Saipan.

Step 7. Global’s lawyers will begin work on getting your Green Card. They may call or e-mail you to ask questions or get documents from you (such as your IELTS or TOEFL/TSE scores) that they will need to complete the paperwork.
