Major Goals of International Exchange Program

  • To facilitate student and faculty growth through exposure to other cultures and health care systems in order to gain a better understanding of global health care and nursing practices.
  • To provide faculty, students, and those outside the University with which we partner with unique opportunities to personally experience how nursing is practiced in developing and other partner countries and communities, in order to gain a better understanding of the role of nursing in the global health care arena.
  • To provide opportunities for faculty members and students to share their international experience with others and relate how those experiences have affected their nursing practice and broadened their horizons.
  • To participate in activities in nursing education, research, service, and consultation that can advance health care on a global level and that can result in an improvement of health care worldwide.

AHRC Looking for Partners from the US to Develop Nurse Resource in China

AHRC is eagerly looking forward to developing nursing resource from China together with strong American partners by providing higher nursing education, which aims to introduce advanced foreign education concept, teaching method and education resource, meanwhile, to enhance the foreign education exchange and provide foreign countries with excellent nursing professionals so as to conduct American nursing industry more high-qualified foreign nurses as well spur foreign nursing education to meet the international standard.
